My name is Hannah Senita. I have been a teacher at Journey School since the beginning in the fall of 2019. I was born and raised in Arizona. My husband and I moved to Texas in May 2019.

I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education. I taught in a public school for one year then worked at a day program for adults with special needs for 3 years where I was the program coordinator for the transition to employment program and I taught a job skills class.

During college I worked on staff at a Christian summer camp for kids with special needs. I have continued to go back every summer as a volunteer and was on staff there again with my husband in the summer of 2019. I also spent my Saturdays for several years volunteering at a therapeutic riding center helping with the equestrian team in Arizona. It was such a joy. I now spend my Saturdays volunteering at Inspiration Ranch-a therapeutic equestrian program in Magnolia.

I am so happy to be a part of Journey School. All of our students are so beautiful and unique. It is an honor to be a piece of their story as I work with them each day to improve on their strengths and abilities. It is a privilege that brings me great joy to be a part of each of their journeys through life.
