Ride-A-Thon 2024 - Postponed

With the possibility of storms tomorrow, we have sad news that we are going to have to postpone the Ride-a-Thon.  We were unable to secure another location that was close to the school and that would allow us room to ride inside and have all our planned entertainment.  We are so sorry that this is happening and have tried all day to find another option for the kids. 

We plan to reschedule the event for the evening of August 19th, which is meet the teacher night, and celebrate coming back to school.  We will have all the entertainment and fun we had planned for tomorrow on that night so we hope you will join us then to celebrate!  

We will send out more details closer to the date and we are again so sorry we have to send this information out to everyone but with the speed that storm came up yesterday, we want to make sure everyone is safe. If you have any questions please let us know, and we hope everyone has a great summer.  We look forward to celebrating back to school with you on August 19th!

Journey PTO

We want to invite our community to "Journey With Us" by supporting our students as they cruise along with their peers, family and teachers to help our school! 

We are working together to raise funds for our new Journey School location! As students "Journey With Us" they will get to choose how they cruise! 

Whether it be a bike, a scooter, wheelchair, wheelbarrow, a ride-on car, or walking, you choose how you cruise! 

No race, pick your own pace, and let's roll!

Thursday, May 30 dismissal is at 12:00 noon.

Please join us immediately after school at Ride-a-thon at St. Timothy's Anglican Church (6819 Louetta Rd, Spring, TX, 77379)

We will have lunch and entertainment from 12:00 until 1:30 then the ride will begin around 1:30/1:45.

You can bring your lunch and have a picnic or there will be food trucks for you to purchase items. The food trucks available are Hissy Chicks, Chicago Eatz, and Pucketts SnoCones.

PTO will also have a cooler of bottled water available.

The ride will begin at 1:30 and the kids can do as many laps as they would like to!  There is a paved loop around the church that the kids will ride on so all modes of transportation and those walking will have a smooth surface to cruise!

During the event from 12:30-1:30, we will have bubble stations, a bounce house, a balloon artist, Klein Fire Department truck, and a face painter for everyone to enjoy!  There is a playground that the church is kindly letting us use during the event as well.

We will have the barricades again for safety to block off the parking lot so we can be as safe as possible in an unfamiliar location.  Parents need to be with their children the entire time as teachers and paras will be interacting and having fun as well and not be assigned to watch students.

We hope everyone will attend to celebrate another great year on our Journey together!  Let's Ride!
