This year has been SUCH a Journey!

Dear Sweet Faithful Supporters,

I'm not sure where to begin...This year has been SUCH a Journey!!! God has provided for our every need and HE has used your faithful prayers and donations to do so! Sometimes I think back to situations that seemed like huge, unsurpassable mountains and awe at the Goodness of the Lord!!! From the need for a new building and providing over and above what we could have imagined to bringing in the new students to begin filling the building! There are so many different needs that have come up, and yet because of your faithful giving, every need has been met!

This year at our "Be Still" Retreat for Moms of children with trauma and special needs, we were able to provide almost half of the moms in attendance with scholarships! Local churches, family members, friends, and even donors who didn't know the moms personally but felt led to gift a mom, provided these scholarships. This was such a sweet time of refreshment for the almost 30 moms in attendance!

Our Gala in October was such a beautiful night of watching the work of the Lord's hands up close and in person! We saw the Prospectors Choir perform and heard from parents whose families have been changed because of the work of Journey School. This is NOT possible without each and every one of you who is partnering with us!

I was able to chat over the Thanksgiving break with one of my dearest friends back in China and hear some of the trials that she and many are facing daily. This woman has such faith and trust in the Lord and knows we are praying for her and for ALL our children in the orphanages in China. It is so bleak right now, but I am asking you to join us in PRAYING for a breakthrough in this situation. Pray for safety for our children and the faithful men and women still standing for the Truth as they are being persecuted. There is so much evil in this world, but we know that we have such HOPE that can only be found in JESUS!!! HE is the one who stands with those who are suffering and is holding them.

As we approach this "Giving Tuesday",  I ask you to pray . . . pray for God to put on your heart the ministries that HE wants you to be faithful to as this year comes to a close. We believe passionately that God has given us a mission here at Journey School, and we long to be faithful to that. But we cannot do it alone!!!! We still desperately need your prayers, and, if God puts our ministry on your heart as one you want to financially support, we give HIM all the praise and Glory for that. Our complete hope and trust is in HIM . . . but we know that HE uses amazing people like you to come alongside our Journey and support us in so many ways!
